Replacing an old stereo or speaker? We'll find the best fit.
RVs last for decades, but older stereos and speakers get discontinued. Send us the size of your wall or ceiling cutout, and we'll recommend the iRV unit that fits best, so you don't have to cut, patch or guess.
How to measure your cutout
- Turn off the RV's 12V power.
- Remove the old unit. For a stereo, take off the faceplate screws and slide it out. For a ceiling speaker, remove the grille and mounting screws.
- Measure the opening: width × height for a stereo, or the diameter for a round speaker.
- Measure the mounting depth available behind the wall or ceiling.
- Note the old model number and take a photo of the wiring on the back.

Common questions
My stereo came with my RV. Can I still register it?
Yes, and we encourage it. Factory-installed iRV stereos are eligible. Enter your RV delivery date as the purchase date, and we'll use your serial number to confirm the unit.
I bought my RV used. Is the stereo still covered?
Any remaining warranty transfers with the unit. Register the serial number in your name and we'll check its coverage. If the warranty has ended, send us the model and serial number and we'll check whether it can be refurbished.
How long is the standard warranty, and how much longer can I get?
iRV stereos come with a [12]-month limited warranty. Registering within [90] days of purchase or delivery adds [12] more months for free.
My stereo is out of warranty. Can it still be repaired?
Often, yes. Fill out the form above, choose "Repair check (out of warranty)," and include the model, serial number and a short description of the problem. We'll tell you whether it can be refurbished and the cost before any work starts.
I can't find my model in the manual library.
Some older or OEM-specific models aren't listed yet. Send us your model and serial number, and we'll email you the correct manual and wiring diagram, usually within [1] business day.
My model is discontinued. What replacement fits?
Fill out the form above, choose "Find a replacement for my old unit," and enter your cutout size and mounting depth. We'll recommend a direct-fit or close-fit iRV replacement and send the wiring details.
How do I measure the cutout for a replacement?
Turn off 12V power and remove the old unit. Measure the opening's width and height (or the diameter for a round ceiling speaker), then the depth available behind it. See "How to measure your cutout" above for step-by-step instructions.
Do you support iRV ceiling speakers too?
Yes. Registration, refurbishment checks, wiring help and replacement recommendations are available for iRV ceiling speakers as well as stereos.
Do I need a professional installer?
Not usually. Most iRV stereos are a straightforward swap using the existing RV harness. Follow your model's manual and wiring diagram, and if your wiring has been modified, email us a photo and we'll check it against the diagram.
Extended warranty terms (summary)
- The free [12]-month extension applies to genuine iRV Technologies stereos registered within [90] days of purchase or RV delivery. One registration per serial number.
- Coverage is tied to the registered serial number. Units with removed or altered serial labels are not eligible.
- Extended coverage matches the standard limited warranty. It does not cover physical or water damage, improper wiring or power supply, unauthorized modification, cosmetic wear, or accessories such as remotes and cables.
- We may ask for photos of the unit or its serial label to verify a claim. We will decide whether to repair or replace the unit. If a model is discontinued, we may replace it with a current equivalent.
- Out-of-warranty refurbishment is assessed case by case. We'll confirm whether a unit can be refurbished, and the cost, before any work starts.
